It’s only the bloomin amazing Annette Badland!!
Annette played the human alias Margaret Blaine in Doctor Who, a member of the alien Slitheen family. Her character was Blon Fel-Fotch Passameer-Day Slitheen an antagonist who appeared in the first season, starting in the 2005 episodes “Aliens of London” and “World War Three,” and returned for a guest role in the episode “Boom Town”.
Outside of Doctor Who, Annette Badland is a prolific actress with a long career, including Outlander, Ted Lasso, Wizards vs Aliens, The Toxic Avenger, Brassic, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and notable role as Aunt Babe in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.
Annette also starred in the hit 90s movie Little Voice that was actually shot in our very own Scarborough!
