Katy Manning has been acting writing & directing for 55 years starting in TV, with Softly Softly, Serendipity, Armchair Theatre & Target.
This quickly followed with theatre that has spanned 3 countries from London’s West End to the Sydney Opera House, NY & LA. Voicing multiple animated films to hosting her own chat show, Katy was cast in Doctor Who as Jo Grant with Jon Pertwee and returning as Jo Jones in The Sarah Jane adventures with Liz Sladen & Matt Smith.
Katy has now met 4 Doctors on screen & was seen briefly in the 59th DW. She has just completed her 3rd & last Box set for Big Finish as Jo Grant, Jo Jones, Iris Wildethyme with several Doctors & Sir Derek Jacobi’s Master, plus characters in Dorian Grey Dracula, Torchwood as Jo Jones & Mother Nothing, and The Ice Warrior Queen in the Troughton years and Not a Well Woman written & performed by Katy plus Bakers End with Tom Baker. Her first short story published by Penguin Origin Stories now out and a new audio set The Return of Jo Jones.
